According to a google search 'Android Go, also known as Android Oreo (Go edition) , is a stripped-down version of Android designed to run on entry-level smartphones. It's comprised of three optimized areas — the operating system, Google Play Store, and Google apps — which have been reimagined to provide a better experience on lesser hardware.'.You can say it a lite verson of android.

2 What is it's main purpose ?

The job of android go is to serve the best features in budget smartphones with  low graded hardwares . It takes as less amount of storage as possible .

3. Pros

Using android go we can save a lot of storage in our phone. It also gives less pressure to the hardware.

4. Cons

Most of the features of a common android smartphones are not avialable in android go edition .
